"My hands are invaluable tools to me.  They are full of memories, good and bad.  Our hands can be used to create and build wonders, but they also can be instruments for destruction and the cause of great pain.  There is a comfort with touch - the simple gesture of placing a hand over another's - or even your own - to begin the process of healing.
