Update from Paula

Hi,

     Saw John again, for the 2nd time, on Sunday.  Our 3 grandkids were with me, so it was a very active visit.  No problem taking kids in.  Actually there are quite a few families in the visiting area.  And both times I visited, the area has been quite full.  That is nice to see.

 

     John still doesn't have his job assignment,  yet.  Neither does Bill Houston.  They were told that it would probably take a month, and that's probably what it will be.  But both of them are keeping busy with reading, writing and walking/jogging. 

 

     I am relaying a happening that John wants passed on to you all.  I did make reference to it in my last communication to you, but this will be in his own words.

     "Midway in my wife, Paula's visit, I needed to relieve myself.  A C.O.took me to the toilet and stayed with me.  He started a conversation by saying I didn't seem like a regular prisoner.  He asked me if I was in for an IRS violation.  I told him about the SOA and POC(prisoner of conscience) status & strategy. 

     "We had a several minute conversation in the bathroom which ended with him telling me he thought I was doing the right thing and he respected me for it.  I suggested he support the movement to close the school.

     "He then said I should remember that he "worked for Caesar"  to which I replied 'render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and .....'  We smiled at each other.

     "For me, it was a special time.  Upon reflection, it conviced me all the more that the more people that know what's going on, the more unpopular the school will become.  Our responsibility and strategy is clear.  We must "tell the story" to more and more people and get more letters and visits to Congress."

 

     John also thanks all of you for your letters, e-mail responses, prayers and concerns.  And so do I.
